This country is a furnished apartment or “هذه البلاد شقة مفروشة” is a poem written by the Syrian poet Nizar Qabbani. The poem talks about the ruler of Qabbani’s country, whom he recurrently compares to the fictional character Antara or “عنترة”. This tryptic series of posters experiments with Arabic typography while highlighting the omnipresence, dictatorially ruling Antara that Qabbani speaks of in this poem.
